Welcome! This year's 32nd Annual Wild Hog Canoe & Kayak Race will start on April 25, 2009. We have already heard from a few of you who want to try your luck paddling down the Waccasassa River. We had a great turnout this past April with some really nice prizes.

We expect to make some minor changes this year. Read the Brochure and Rules for all the changes that have occurred.

We hope everyone enjoyed the "I Survived..." photo shoot at the last race. We didn't do too bad last year, but we expect to raise even more money for LARC this year by getting more boaters involved in the photo shoot and we are looking to increase our sponsorship. By sponsoring the race, you will receive a Wild Hog Tee Shirt with your sponsor name on it, a replica paddle with the date and logo, and you can put either a canoe (2 people) or a kayak into the race for free. Such a deal!
